Tomorrow is the day of rest and gladness—hallelujah!

We wanted to send some details about tomorrow’s worship service, as well as two resources:

Tomorrow

  • King’s Kids + Sunday School at 9:15am. Tomorrow we have King’s Kids at 9:15am, and Sunday School. If you are bringing your children, please arrive there 5-10 min early to check them into class.
  • Those that can, please park in Progress Street Parking lot. With winter break over, parking has been a little tighter. I’d like to leave some open parking spots for older saints and for visitors. Those that are able, could you park in the Progress Street Parking Lot (image)? It’s free on Sundays.
  • Start time/call bell. Worship will start at 10:30am. Three minutes before we start, someone will ring a hand bell, to call everyone up to worship. No more flickering lights 🙂 or verbal round ups. The bell is a little more pleasant, distinct, and easy to hear from just about anywhere in the building. When you hear it, come on up and round  up the children as well.
  • Practice two songs. Tomorrow we’re singing two newer song, The Creed of Timothy and Babylon is Fallen. Sing them through by yourself or with your household a couple times today. Sheet music can be found in our 2026 Songs of the King booklet.

Resources

These are two brief resources that may be an encouragement.

  1. Pray 5 min with your Spouse, a Guide by Joel Beeke (1 min read) – https://heritagebooks.org/content/beeke-pray_together_tonight_2512.pdf
  2. “We make those words stick” (Short Video – 2m27s) – Al Mohler on the importance of Creeds and Confessions. What he says about Southern Seminary, we also purpose to be true of our church – https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HJkB388eYCg
